After the completion of the basic renovation works: renovation of the facade, replacement of windows and roofing, renovation of the towers with gilded crosses crowning them, reconstructed according to the original design etc., the church of Saint Raphael the Archangel in Vilnius not only regained its historical appearance, but also the title of one of the most beautiful temples in the capital.
In mid-2022, renovation works began inside the church, the replacement of the electrical wiring began, and the renovation of side altars, walls and vaults is planned. Unfortunately, the scope of work and rampant inflation makes financing a challenge as costs of even basic renovation works are rising dramaticly. Donations of parishioners are a significant support, but the renovation fund definitely needs to be supplemented from other sources as well.
In accordance with the agreement concluded between the Parish of St. Raphael the Archangel in Vilnius and the Litvanus Foundation, the foundation will support the renovation of the church of St. Raphael the Archangel in Vilnius.
